American Football in Israel

Honest to goodness...real American football in Israel. They started a league this year and have four teams. It seems to be a hit and there will be more teams added next season. In Jerusalem they play at Kraft Stadium (that's Kraft as in Robert Kraft...New England Patriots).

I have to say...it was quite bizarre to see guys in football gear shouting in Hebrew.

When my brothers were here, we went to the final game of the season. Haifa was playing Jerusalem for the title. The game was much closer than we anticipated and actually went into overtime. Good times!
