Buckeye Basketball

One evening we took the kids to a Buckeye basketball game. Never mind the basketball or Brutus Buckeye (our wonderful mascot), Tyler was captivated by the overhead scoreboard.

And then there’s the mascot. Before the game started we went down to meet Brutus Buckeye and after some high-fives (or “sliding him some skin” as Cameron would say), we got our picture taken with him. Taylor was too preoccupied with the over-sized head that Brutus has to be bothered with posing for the camera.

What’s a basketball game without a hotdog and a Coke at halftime? I must say, taking four kids under the age of three to a concession stand is harder than it looks.

We had fed the kids before we went to the game so we got them a hotdog to share…more just for the fun than any nutritional value! Being the only girl has its advantages…Taylor got to have first dibs. I love the way Cameron and Alex are monitoring the situation. Tyler’s cool…he’s got his french fry…what does he care?
