A Real Live Merkava

We recently had the privilege of visiting a base on Israel's northern border with Lebanon. I can't say I've ever been this close to a real live Merkava (that's "chariot" in Hebrew) tank before. Big. Very big. And scary if it's rumbling towards you. I loved every minute of our visit. It's always interesting to hear different perspectives on Israel's latest war and we got to chat with different soldiers. One thing they all had in common: they didn't ask for this war, they don't like this war, but they will do their duty, defend and protect.
