Happy Birthday Israel!

Independence Day is my favorite holiday in Israel. A whole gang of us went downtown this year to celebrate the rebirth of the modern state of Israel a mere 58 years ago. They block off the streets with buses (hence, the bus in the background) and there is lots of food, live music, singing...it's a great vibe.
